This is where I'm staying whilst
I'm in Matamata.
Karen and her husband (Jeff?) are the owners, and Karen is the sweetest thing! She has helped me with so much, so many activities, she gives me great advice on how I can do things, or if I don't know what to do she gives great advice what I COULD do.
Like today! I got a map to go see the "Heritage Trail-Matamata"- it was like orientation where I had a map and I was off to find different markings in different areas. There are 20 markings, and I accidentally got them backwards. I don't mind!
But after having found 12 of them I found myself right outside a "gelato shop", thus I quit looking for markings, I got me some ice-cream and I went back to the hotel.
Karen had done all of my dirty laundry! What a sweetheart!!
This is what my room looks like:
Karen, and the location of the hotel, are the best - Karen is so adorable and happily talks to me about just anything, "this and that", and the hotel is close to nature, horses, and the I-site where the "Hobbiton Bus" picks one up.
