Hollywood 2019
Two out of two possible flights to Los Angeles were delayed. Two boneheads wouldn’t show up at the passport control, and there was something else but I forgot.
I made it all the way to West Hollywood in one piece, back to “my good old regular”, the “Days Inn Hollywood”! However I didn’t get the room I had asked for and been guaranteed (no 208), but instead I got to use room no 217, and so far (second night) I have gotten lost every time I have tried to find my way to or from that room! 🤯
Also, my “lovely neighbours” were playing music so extremely loudly I had to complain to the person in charge.
Friday September 9, 2019, the movie “It: Chapter 2” was premiering, and already I have seen it twice (duh... 😊)
One of the hotel’s receptionists, María, helped me with getting a reservation to go see the Dr. Phil Show on Monday! That’s tomorrow! 😄 Which is why I, yesterday (Friday September 6) went to see if I could find Paramount Studios. Took me some time, but eventually I got there, after just shy of an hour. 😊 Later that day I got an email from mr. Robbins (who’s responsible for the audience, I believe?) asking me if I had any experience of “ghosting” (i.e. ”Ghosting: having someone that you believe cares about you, whether it be a friend or someone you are dating, disappear from contact without any explanation at all. No phone call, email, not even a text.”). To my knowledge I have not experienced any ghosting.
Must try to get some sleep... 😴
